Jean Paul Gaultier – From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk #JPGMUC

After New York, Paris, London and many more…you can finally admire the distinctive designs of Jean Paul Gaultier from 18. September to 14. February in the „Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung“ in Munich.

All in all there are 175 pieces. Among other designs you see the famous bra of Madonnas „Blond Ambition“-Tour of 1990. Just as outfits from Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and the breathtaking mermaid-dress of Marion Cotillard for her Oscar-Award 2008. Besides there are also pieces of Gaultiers High-Tech Kollektion of 1979 and a selection of extravagant wedding dresses.

I can totally recommend this exhibition! I don’t want to reveal too much about the designs or show many pictures-you have to see it yourself! A picture could not do the pieces any justice.. 😉
